The comic not only shows Welling's character in costume, but sees him interacting with the DC Universe as a whole. Fans of Smallville have been hoping for the series to see some kind of revival and possibly a full-scale reboot through the Arrowverse, and "Crisis On Infinite Earths" comes close to granting that wish.
The question of what other cast members might make an appearance in "Crisis" and how active a role they will play in the event is still uncertain, but what's not is that fans will be rewatching Smallville before the Arrowverse crossover happens. Since then he has gone on to write for over a dozen websites, including Mania, Comics Nexus and The Cult of Nobody. What little spare time he has is devoted towards acting, role-playing, movie-riffing and sarcasm. This prequel to Superman shows what life is like for a teenage Clark Kent.
As he goes through high school and lands in college, his life is full of drama like every kid his age. Yet, he is entirely different from others. Smallville captures how Clark's dual life is set in motion long before he accepts himself as a superhero.
Eventually, he moves to Metropolis, and it's the start of all things new. He meets Lois Lane, the love of his life, and interacts with Green Arrow. By this time, he has also made new foes, including Lex Luther and his half-sister Tess Mercer. Smallville is a coming-of-age series that handles Clark Kent's story in his pre-Superman days quite intelligently and maturely. It's a fairly long series, and one has to accept that not every episode is a jaw-dropper.
There are some silly episodes with unnecessary teenage drama. But for the most part, the series offers fantastic and enjoyable episodes with plot twists. It's fun to watch Clark discover who he really is and what he can do. Meanwhile, his personal relationships also get highlighted. Tom Welling does justice to his role as a budding superhero. Final Verdict: With a strong script, evolving plots, well-developed moments of action, and great actors, Smallville is a must-watch for all Justice League fans.
